New IB Program coming to CMH!

Congratulations CMH!

The International Baccalaureate Organization has approved our school for an IBCC Site Visit, which is the final step to authorization for the International Baccalaureate Career-related Certificate.

We received perfect scores on our IBCC Consultation Report and the Feedback on Application for Authorization.  Among the positive comments CMH received were the following:

"The written curriculum is comprehensive and aligns with the requirements of the IBCC"

"[CMH] uses a range of strategies and tools to assess student learning"

"[CMH] has designed a rich combination of Diploma courses that correspond to the planned PLTW courses
for the IBCC."

Contact John Burke, who is the IB Diploma and IBCC Coordinator, if you have questions.

International Baccalaureate Career-related Certificate (IBCC)

The International Baccalaureate (IB) has developed a framework of international education that will incorporate the vision and educational principles of the IB into local programs that address the needs of students engaged in career-related education.

In this context the IB and Catholic Memorial High School wishes to collaborate with a range of agencies to develop this academic credential, known as the IB Career-related Certificate (IBCC). The IBCC is an academic qualification designed to support schools and colleges that offer career-related courses like Project Lead the Way (PLTW) to their students
