August 21, 2014

Dear Catholic Memorial High School:

The Alliance for Young Artists & Writers and the US Department of Education congratulate you on your success in the 2014 Scholastic Art & Writing Awards!

We are pleased to inform you of yet another exciting opportunity. Bethanie Krause’s work, Annalyse, will be on display at The U.S. Department of Education as part of ART.WRITE.NOW.DC, a special exhibition of National Award-winning work from the 2014 Scholastic Art & Writing Awards. This year, 56 works of art and The Best Teen Writing of 2014 will be displayed in the lobby of their main building in Washington, DC.

Our colleagues at The Department of Education are delighted to host this yearlong exhibition and we are organizing a special day of celebratory events. On Friday, September 19, please join us in Washington, DC for a celebratory ribbon-cutting ceremony!

We are honored to present Bethanie’s art as an example of the very best creative work by our nation’s emerging young artists.

Sincerely,

Courtney Buckland
