Crusader Baseball beats Indians

CMH rallies past Indians in seventh

MUKWONAGO – Catholic Memorial scored four runs in the top of the seventh inning and held on to defeat Mukwonago 8-7 in a Classic 8 Conference game Thursday.

Josh Karfonta singled in the decisive run and finished 2 for 4 with two runs batted in. Matt Rechner went 2 for 3 with a double and two RBIs, Zach Fridl was 2 for 5 with two runs, Cam Krausert was 2 for 4 and Chandler North was 2 for 3 with an RBI for the Crusaders.

Matt Schultz earned the pitching victory in three innings of relief.

Noah Sadler went 3 for 3 with a double and three RBIs for the Indians, Brandon Parr was 2 for 4 with two RBIs and Dane McDermott went 2 for 4.

Both teams emerged at 4-1 in the Classic 8 and 5-2 overall.
