Crusader Tennis launders the Shirts

Crusaders beat South in Classsic 8 dual 
First dual loss for Blackshirts


WAUKESHA – The Catholic Memorial High School boys tennis team rebounded from its first Classic 8 Conference loss by topping Waukesha South 5-2 at the Woyahn Tennix Complex on Monday.


After losing to Arrowhead last week, the Crusaders handed South its first dual loss of the season.


Mike Mirsberger won 6-1,
 6-2 at No. 1 singles for CMH, Tommy Matoska won 6-1, 6-0 at No. 2 and Christian Erickson won 6-3, 6-2 at No. 3.

Joseph Diedrich and Andrew Diedrich won 6-2, 64 at No. 1 doubles for the Crusaders, and Jon Rymer and Matt Murphy won 6-7 (6), 6-2, 6-3 at No. 2.


South’s Riley Teutschmann won 7-6 (3), 4-6, 7-6 (4) at No. 4 singles for the Blackshirts, and Josiah Culver and Dom Martino won 6-2, 2-6, 7-5 at No. 3 doubles.
