Boys Tennis serves up Mukwonago

CMH sweeps Mukwonago in Classic 8 dual 

MUKWONAGO – The Catholic Memorial High School boys tennis team cruised to a 7-0 Classic 8 Conference victory over Mukwonago on Tuesday.

The Crusaders won every match in straight sets, allowing three or less points in each game.

Senior Mike Mirsberger won 6-0, 6-1 at No. 1 singles, sophomore Tommy Matoska won 6-0, 6-0 at No. 2, junior Christian Erickson won 6-3, 6-1 at No. 3 and senior David VerBockel won 6-0, 6-0 at No. 4.

Senior Joseph Diedrich and freshman Andrew Diedrich won 6-0, 1-0 (retired) at No. 1 doubles, senior Jon Rymer and sophomore Matt Murphy won 6-0, 6-0 at No. 2 and senior Luke Whalen and freshman Sawyer Cartwright won 6-1, 6-3 at No. 3.
