Looking for a chance to help Catholic Charities & have a good meal?

from CMH alum, and Board member, Ann Marie Wick, '88.  Ann Marie is former chair of the board of Catholic Charities of Milwaukee.

Some of you know of the outstanding restaurant in Milwaukee - Blue's Egg, at 76th and Bluemound.  Did you know that each month they designate a charity that will receive $1 from the sale of every daily egg plate?

In the month of November, the charity that will receive this benefit is Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee (CC MKE).  I recommend going to Blue's Egg this month to support Catholic Charities (and have an outstanding brunch!!).

CC MKE serves more than 23,000 people in SE Wisconsin - most of whom are far below the poverty level.  In 2012, nearly 90% of their clients had an annual income of less than $12,000 (60% had income less than $5,000).

If you want to learn more about Blue's Egg check out their website (http://www.bluesegg.com/).

If you want to find out more about Catholic Charities, their website is

One way that would be great for you, your family, your work, your parish, your neighborhood, your book club, etc. to get involved is their Christmas Giving Program.  The Christmas Giving Program provides nearly 2,000 of their clients a Christmas gift - the only gift they will receive.  You can find out more at:(http://www.ccmke.org/get-involved/get-involved---christmas-giving).
