The Volleyball march begins

Memorial, Arrowhead win 

WAUKESHA – The Catholic Memorial High School girls volleyball team opened Classic 8 Conference play with a 25-10, 25-11, 25-15 victory over Waukesha North on Wednesday.

The game was scheduled to be played at North but was played at CMH due to a fire in North’s field house during the summer.

Freshman Alex Alden had seven kills for CMH (3-5 overall, 1-0 Classic 8), junior Hayley Levenhagen had nine assists, senior Lauren Alberti had seven digs, senior Danella Uzelak had three blocks and freshmen Maddy Rondeau and Kat Christian had three aces apiece.

Savannah Brauer had eight kills to lead North (3-
7, 0-1), Maren Lichtie had nine assists, Rhianna Wienss had four digs and Emily Senger had three blocks.
