CMH Girls Soccer players recognized

CMH, West put seven on all-conference first team for girls soccer; Arrowhead goalie Player of Year

WAUKESHA – The Classic 8 Conference and WIAA Division 2 state champion Catholic Memorial High School girls soccer team had eight players recognized in the all-Classic 8 voting.

Arrowhead senior goalie Michela Ongaro was voted the Player of the Year.

CMH freshman forward Emily Cervantes, senior midfielder Carina Krausert, senior defender Anna Jurken and sophomore goalkeeper Cassidy Lentz were firstteam selections.

WIAA Division 1 state runner-up Waukesha West had five honorees including three first-team selections: junior forward Katie Grall, senior midfielder Carly Richter and senior defender Carly Hoffman.

The first team also included Waukesha North junior forward Aubrey Krahn and junior goalie Emily Senger and Waukesha South junior midfielder Marie Lesperance.
