Ann (Stollenwerk) Maas '77
Last
Friday, May 24th, Dr. Bob Hall, CMH principal, presented math
teacher, Ann (Stollenwerk) Maas ‘77, with the 2013 Frank and
Teresa Wurnig Teacher Excellence Award. Ann is a strong proponent of Catholic
education being a graduate of St. Mary’s-Hales Corners, CMH, and receiving her
B.A. in math and education from Cardinal Stritch. She has also been a math
teacher at CMH for 31 years and even completed her student teaching at CMH
prior to being hired. Ann has been involved as a student council moderator for
the last 15 years and the head cook for the annual Service Club Thanksgiving
Dinner for the last 12 years. She is married to CMH theology teacher, Anthony
Maas, and is the mother of Sara ’04 and Joe Maas ’07.
