Catholic Memorial Honors Veterans and Benefactors

at Annual Celebrating Lives of Service

Waukesha, Wisc.Catholic Memorial High School (CMH) will be holding its annual Celebrating Lives of Service event on Friday, May 10, at 10:15 a.m. in the InPro Athletic Center located on the CMH campus.

Celebrating Lives of Service commemorates the 23 members of St. Joseph’s parish in Waukesha who gave their lives for their country in World War II and for whom Catholic Memorial High School was named. Later, the dedication of the school was extended to include all graduates of Catholic Memorial who have died in service to their country.

Celebrating Lives of Service is an annual event hosted by CMH students, faculty, and staff to celebrate benefactors and grandparents whose lives of service honors our origin and advances our mission to educate, guide, prepare and serve.

Included in the ceremony will be the presentation of the Col. Mary Jo MacGregor (Ret.) ’81 Award for Meritorious Service and the announcement of the 2013 CMH Hero of the Year Award will close the celebration.

Following the luncheon, all adults and their student hosts will have the opportunity to attend the Catholic Memorial Student Art Exhibition in the Academic Resource Center (ARC). The exhibit features over 1,200 selections of student art from the 2012-13 school year. The art show is free and open for public viewing 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
