CMH vs Madison West
Tuesday, Oct 30
7:00PM @ CMH
The Wisconsin High School Girls Rugby Championship Match was a tight first-half battle that kept the crowd and both sidelines on their feet.
CMH controlled the match in the opening first-half, but found themselves down 5-0 at the halftime break after some great continuity by the Dashers. DSHA made some halftime adjustments and scored in the first five-minutes of the second-half to take control of the match. Phenomenal defensive pressure from the Dashers probably turned the tide of the match in their favor.
Congrats to DSHA on a well-earned Championship and some excellent rugby and congratulations to the Crusaders on their back-to-back State Finals!
The faculty and staff at CMH will vigorously provide support for each student’s pursuit of the IB Diploma. We ask that all members of our community pray for these 50 intrepid scholars as they embark on this challenging and enriching journey. The Class of 2014 will attempt to break the record of 46 IB Diplomas earned that the Class of 2009 set a few years ago. Good luck Class of 2014!

On the day of the Level Two play off game against Pewaukee, the CMH varsity football players gathered for a team chapel mass.
What makes this even more impressive is the fact that there is no school today at CMH.
I am constantly impressed by our kids and their growing sense of faith, and their commitment to school.
As is the tradition, to finish the mass, we prayed the CMH Team Prayer --
Our Life, Health, and Abilities are gifts from you.
Give us the courage to devote each,
not to our own gain, but to your glory.
Let us compete today with all our heart, mind, body, and soul.
If you choose, allow victory to come as a blessing and reward;
but, if necessary, assist us to learn integrity in defeat.
Keep all players safe this day.
Allow us to give our best as a memorial
to those who have given their all for our sake.
Leader:/ St. Sebastian, patron of athletes,
R:/ Pray for Us.
L:/ Our Lady of Memorial, R:/ Pray for Us.
L:/ Our Lady of Victory, R:/ Pray for Us
L:/ We make this prayer through Christ our Lord.

JV Girls Rugby
Both referee's at the field Saturday commented that this was the best 'jv' game they may have ever seen. Featuring a highly-skilled attack, both teams played with width, at times; kicked at times, and competed at the breakdown effectively. DSHA and CMH aligned quickly on defense in impressive fashion. After at least three lead changes in a fun match, Memorial freshman winger Ellie Metz scored the decisive try late in the second half.

I know this is after the fact and I apologize for the delay but we were trying to see if someone from the Poms group had a better picture from Al's run & walk with Andy... but as it turned out - we had the better picture - it was so quick when they decided to pose with the racing sausages so it was a fast decision and one of those "look over here" moments.
Below (on the left) a picture from the first time that we met Andy's donor, Mary, back in 1997 and then (on the right) this year had to take a follow-up picture 15 years later. It turned out to be a wonderful day and Andy wanted to say thanks to all for their support and prayers. Also, he did reach his team goal and raised over $3000 for Children's Hospital.
