A dinner to remember...

Last week, myself and four other priests who assist CMH in various ways served up a gourmet dinner at the CMH Rectory for a group of winning bidders from last Spring's Crusader Auction.

It was a great evening for all.  Special thanks to Brooke and Mike Finnegan who took the lead in the bidding,  but thanks also to the Schmit, Bachman, McCormick, Burns and Schulze families who offer such great support for CMH.

Joining me in the cooking and serving duties were Fr. Phil Bogacki, associate pastor of St. John Vianney, Chaplain to the CMH pro-life club, and a CMH board member; Fr. Erich Weiss, associate pastor of St. Jerome, Oconomowoc, chaplain to the CMH hockey program, and a resident at the rectory; Fr. Kevin Barnekow, associate pastor of St. William's, Waukesha, and chaplain to the basketball team; and lastly, (behind the camera) Fr. Sean O'Connell, new administrator of Queen of Apostles Parish, Pewaukee, chaplain to the football team, and rectory resident.

Just a good way to recall, and plan for, the CMH Auction.  Mark your calendars, Crusader Auction 2013 will be held on Saturday, March 9th.
