Crusaders Rugby can use the word "wallop" once again...

The Catholic Memorial girls rugby team (4-0) defeated Vernon (3-1) Saturday morning at DeClene Field, to remain in a tie for the conference lead.
Memorial began the scoring with two well-earned tries finished off by senior wing Ally Vanchena. Senior Emma Metz stood out among the forwards and contributed two tries of her own, breaking multiple tackles in the process.
Next up is the conference decider against DSHA (4-0) Saturday Oct 1st at Minooka Park at 10am.
THe CMH JV girls (3-1) bounced back with a 31-0 victory over Vernon. Junior Maggie Czarnecki scored off a twenty meter run and freshman Myra Dillett scored a weaving try through multiple defenders.
