Crusaders seek to repeat as state champs
Several key athletes back
WAUKESHA - Catholic Memorial High School's 2010 WIAA Division 2 state championship girls volleyball team graduated four players with a combined 16 years of varsity expereince.
But seven players return to a roster that includes four seniors, 10 juniors, and one sophomore. "It is, on average, the oldest team at CMH in six years," Memorial coach Ted Schulte said.
Back from last year's team, which went 7-0 in the Classic 8 Conference and finished 46-4 overall, are senior setter Sara Connell, senior middle hitters Greta Davis and Amanda Hansen, senior leftside Kaitlyn Hastings, junior leftside Aly Dawson, junior rightside Mary Dougherty.
