2 Crusaders at Football All-Star game

As reported here last February, Cody Gardetto, CMH ‘11, defensive end, has been selected to play in the Wisconsin Football Coaches Association (WFCA) All Star game on July 16, 2011 at Titan Stadium in Oshkosh, WI.

Jerry Boll, CMH ’11, strong safety, was called up by the South All-Stars coach (Coach Rusch of Waukesha South) after Kenosha Bradford player Trae Waynes withdrew from the game.

Boll and Gardetto were team captains that led the Catholic Memorial football team to the state title game in Camp Randall this past fall.

Boll and Gardetto both attended St. John Vianney in Brookfield, WI and played four years in the Junior Crusader Football program before attending Catholic Memorial.

The WFCA All Star game will be played this Saturday July 16, 2011 at 7 pm with all proceeds benefiting Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin.
