Catholic Memorial golfers win
Bohrer’s 37 leads way

WAUKESHA – Patrick Bohrer was meet medalist to help the Catholic Memorial High School boys golf team win the second Classic 8 Conference mini-meet of the season.

Memorial shot a 161 at Merrill Hills Country Club to finish three strokes ahead of Arrowhead, which leads the conference standings, and four strokes ahead of Kettle Moraine, the state’s top-ranked team. Waukesha West finished fourth.

Three golfers shot 39 – Memorial’s Dylan Allen, Kettle Moraine’s Nic Johnson and Arrowhead’s Matt Ross. Allen was Memorial’s No. 5 golfer.

Kettle Moraine’s Ryan Franklin shot 40. At 41 were Arrowhead’s Kyle Driscoll and John Langhoff, West’s Cody Neu and Pius’ Andy Krupp. At 42 were Memorial’s Corey Stanislawski, Mukwonago’s Pete Heinemann and West’s Colton Duwe.

Waukesha North was led by Nate Hawkins with a 44. Waukesha South did not compete because of absences over the Easter vacation.
