Three Sports Items

Crusader Wrestling takes Third in Kenosha

KENOSHA – The Catholic Memorial High School wrestling team had five champions as it finished third in the nine-team Kenosha Bradford Invitational on Saturday.

Bradford won with 188 points, 3.5 better than runner-up Milwaukee Bradley Tech and eight more than Catholic Memorial.

Memorial’s champions were freshman David McLeod at 103, freshman Romeo Orosco at 119, senior Matt Hauser at 152, senior Matt Groehler at 215 and senior Nick Olson at 285.
Senior Matt Krause was second at 135, senior Jake Parworth was third at 140, sophomore Justin Dentici was fourth at 171 and junior Jordan Pogorzelski was fifth at 130.


CMH Junior, Alison Mueller, #9 among county scoring leaders, averaging 12.9 points per game.
