just to get to the pertinent part...

Classic 8 coaches have noted that Waukesha West, Arrowhead and Catholic Memorial appear to be in line to hold onto the top three spots in the league, but there are many teams behind them looking to move up.

West lost its starting quarterback and leading rusher, but returns three of its offensive linemen and a number of other starters on both sides of the ball – led by senior linemen Chris Busbey and Matt Losiniecki.

Arrowhead lost its all-time leading rusher, Brian Crook, to graduation, but the team is looking for linebackers Blake Mattson and Derek Landisch, both seniors, to lead a once-again-powerful defense.

Catholic Memorial returns senior back Pete Karczewski, a second team all-Classic 8 back last season, and returns all-league guard Matt Baldwin and second-team tackle Zack Degner.
