PREP BOYS TENNIS ROUNDUP

WAUKESHA – The Catholic Memorial High School boys tennis team defeated Waukesha North 7-0, losing only one set in a Classic 8 Conference dual meet Wednesday. The Crusaders lost only eight games in singles as Alex Klaas won 6-2, 6-2 at No. 1, Kevin Lanigan won 6-0, 6-2 at No. 2, Matt Mirsberger won 6-1, 6-1 at No. 3 and Jake Truelove won 6-0, 6-0 at No. 4.

The No. 1 doubles match was the only one to go three sets as Matt Mills and Matt Lawton defeated North’s Chris Massman and Troy Laedtke 6-3, 4-6, 6-3. Memorial’s Micah Lofholm and Charlie Raddatz won 6-2, 6-1 at No. 2 doubles, while No. 3 doubles went to Sean Spencer and Tim Siegler, 7-5, 7-5.
