Girls Soccer Continues Shut Outs

CMH extends shutout streak

MILWAUKEE – The Catholic Memorial High School soccer team kept its shutout streak alive. The Crusaders, ranked No. 1 in Division 2, played Divine Savior Holy Angels to a 0-0 nonconference tie Thursday. Behind junior goalkeeper Monica Gonyo, the Crusaders (17-2-2) recorded their 12th consecutive shutout, this one against the second-ranked team in Division 1. Memorial, which hasn’t lost to a Wisconsin team this season, has played 1,021 consecutive minutes without giving up a goal, dating back to April 17. DSHA is 13-4-5.
