CMH's "White Christmas" Recognized

White Christmas wins 6 Tommy Awards

Congratulations to Director Chris Andacht and the cast and crew of our 2009 musical White Christmas for winning 6 Tommy Awards!

These awards include:
Outstanding Musical Number – Falling Out of Love Can Be Fun
Outstanding Ensemble
Outstanding Lead Performer – Gavin Briscoe (Bob Wallace)
Outstanding Supporting Performer – Erika Lee (Martha Wilson)
Outstanding Stage Management – Jennifer Loeffler
Outstanding Choreography – Doug Reed

The Tommy Award ceremony will take place Sunday, June 6 at 7 PM at the Overture Center. The ceremony will include performances of winners in the Outstanding Musicals, Outstanding Musical Number and Outstanding Lead Performer categories. A FINALE number with winners in the Outstanding Lead and Outstanding Supporting Performer categories will also be performed. All award winners will receive a Tommy Award and certificate.

The Overture’s Tommy Awards’ is an educational initiative that honors and celebrates excellence in musical theater production among area high school students.
