PREP BOYS TENNIS RECAP

Rough start does not jeopardize overall win!

WAUKESHA – The Catholic Memorial High School boys tennis team lost at No. 1 singles but was perfect after that in a 6-2 Classic 8 Conference victory over Mukwonago at Heyer Park on Tuesday.

Memorial, 2-0 in conference, got singles victories from junior Kevin Lanigan at No. 2, 6-0, 6-1; freshman Matt Mirsberger at No. 3, 6-1, 6-3; and junior Jake Truelove at No. 4, 6-2, 6-2. Doubles winners were juniors Matt Mills and Matt Lawton at No. 1, 6-1, 6-1; seniors Micah Lofholm and Charlie Raddatz at No. 2, 6-2, 6-4; and junior Sean Spencer and senior Tim Siegler at No. 3, 6-0, 6-2.
