Learners Without Borders

Recently, Jacquelyn Gigot, CMH senior, was selected as the state-wide winner for the Wisconsin Association for Language Teachers, annual postcard contest. The contest, presented last spring to students, was to promote the public awareness of the importance of learning languages and understanding cultures in the lives of all Americans.

Jacquelyn’s postcard has been published and distributed and will be used by WAFLT as well as member teachers in communication throughout the coming year. Sarah Voors and Amy Olson were also selected to have their postcards published, and were runners up in the contest. Through the artwork of these three young ladies, the CMH name will be sent throughout the state!
Congratulations Jacqie, Sarah & Amy!
