Rectory Chapel Progressing

While I am at my mom's home recuperating from neck surgery a great CMH volunteer who has been restoring some wood furnishings from the old convent to be used in the refurbished rectory, has finished restoring a mantle that will serve as a back altar, or tabernacle altar, for the rectory Chapel.

It has been important to me since we started discussing the rectory project that I wanted a Eucharistic Chapel for myself and for any other residents who come to live there.

You can see from the picture the great work that has been done. I am hoping to someday get a mosaic or tapestry to place in the opening of the mantle.

Thanks to all who have worked so hard to make the CMH Rectory such a welcoming place that supports the wider community.

Fr. Paul
